The journey includes Athens, Delphi, Olympia, Delos, Santorini and Knossos. You will be travelling across all areas with helicopter having the opportunity to admire front row stunning & dramatic landscapes of the Greek territory. Our signature journey travel director will discretely accompany you in all locations & transfers to turn your fantasies into reality. Some of the most experienced and knowledgable local guides and/or experts will exclusively handle your private guided tours in each specific museum & ancient area.
The journey begins in Athens with a visit to Acropolis museum with the guidance of a Museum Archaeologist who will lead guests to discover dimensions of the ancient past and fascinating aspects of everyday life on the Acropolis in antiquity. The day continues with a visit in a unique jewelry museum devoted to the art of jewelry and decorative arts. The owners of the museum will elaborate on the history and evolution of jewelry from ancient times to recent years.
Next day you’ll fly from Athens to Delphi. Delphi museum exhibits the history of the Delphic sanctuary, site of the most famous ancient Greek oracle and after the tour we overnight in Delphi/Arahova region.
Depart Delphi to Olympia the origin place of Olympic Games in Peloponnese. Enjoy a private guided tour in Olympia museum and ancient Olympic Games site. Later on, fly to east to Epidaurus ancient theater, the most beautiful and well preserved theater of antiquity. After the tour in Epidaurus Theater you’ll fly to Porto Heli (East coast of Peloponnese) where you’ll spend the night.
Next morning fly to Mykonos. Upon arrival and hotel check-in, you’ll board on a RIB boat and depart to Delos and Rhinia islands. Experience a private guided tour of Delos sacred island before you swim at the remote island of Rhinia with the turquoise waters. The rib boat crew will serve you lunch and beverages on board. Later on, you will sail back towards the south beaches of the island (St. John bay, Platy Gialos, Psarrou) and enjoy the sunset before you disembark at Tourlos port.
Depart Mykonos in style with a helicopter ride over to gorgeous Santorini, enjoying the stunning fly view of the Cyclades islands whilst en route. You’ll visit Akrotiri excavations – a Minoan Bronze Age settlement – in the west end of the island. You’ll overnight in Santorini in Imerovigli village.
Next day you land on Grete island where you will lead to Knossos for an exclusive guided tour. Knossos is the largest Bronze Age archeological site on Crete and is considered Europe’s oldest city.
This signature journey is an excellent cultural combination, showcasing the masterpieces of ancient Greece with local scholars and archaeologists and will please both your sense of unearthing and your leisure needs.
